About us
Warrior’s Insight Therapy was started by, Mayumi Kimura, a veteran and trauma therapist who saw firsthand how mental health was often overlooked or misunderstood in this line of work. She decided to bring together a team of providers who had a deep understanding that life on the front lines doesn’t stop when the shift ends or when you leave the service. Whether you're military, veteran, a first responder, or a frontline healthcare worker, you carry the weight of everything you’ve seen and done.
Our providers know what its like to assume that this is how it is and there’s no fixing it. But we also know that ignoring it doesn’t make it go away. That it ends up showing itself in other ways - alcohol, insomnia, relationship issues, suicide. Warrior’s Insight Therapy was opened to give people like you a place to deal with what’s under the surface. We’re not here to give you fluff—we offer real, evidence-based therapy from a team that understands what you’re going through.
